Welcome to my alternate reality…

Hi, my name is Binky Bee and I’m a weirdo.

Being a self-professed hermit and a so-called information junkie (a title given by my friend The Beautiful Russian), I have my own reality that consists of a heavy dose of television, with a dash of movies, sprinkled by classic and pop literature, topped off by a generous portion of fashion and of course seasoned by mostly-indie music.

This blog is about my reality: the fashion I love and wear, the movies I watch, the TV shows I’m addicted to, the books I read, the music I listen to, and everything else that happens to occupy my mind and fickle interests.

Thanks for visiting and reading. Hope you like my reality…

PS: I have also written three novels, two are available on Amazon.com: “The Rebirth of Love and Reason” and “Love/Fool: An Observation of Love In The City” (search under Binky Bee) – and my newest novel “Everybody’s Perfect” will be launched in Amazon worldwide and Barnes & Noble soon. I’ll keep you posted on that, in the meantime, you can get my latest novel here at Lulu, just click on the button below. (Oh yeah, I am shameless!)

xoxo

  1. Hi Sweets, (sorry for the informality but I feel very! connected/ appealed to your blog)

I love the way you write and the way you blog! The photos that grace each post are whizzed with their own story; they greatly compliment your writing and thoughts.

I hope your writer’s block clears because I know the power of beautifully painted words.

you can feel free to check it out (if you want) I’ve added you to my blogroll on there, so I can keep up with your blog!!!

    take care,

  14. So I’ve been following your blog for over a year (when I started blogging myself I looked to yours for inspiration). I’m an aspiring writer myself and I was wondering how you went about getting published…I could really use some tips/pointers.

Thanks. And keep up this amazing blog. I don’t know what I would do without it!

    • Hi Kayla, nice to meet you here! Sorry it took a while for me to reply, I’ve just been so busy lately.

To answer your question; I didn’t actually “get published”, I self-publish using this great self-publishing website http://www.lulu.com – it would be nice to be published the traditional way but as you know, it’s not that easy for us aspiring writers these days. 🙂 I figured instead of waiting around to be published “for real”, I should just try to get my novels out there first. If you are interested, do visit the site, it’s actually pretty easy.

      Hope that helps!

      Xoxo

  15. Hey Binky, I was wondering is there an email I can reach you?
